Washington: Europe and the Arabs - and agencies
The White House has confirmed that there will be limits on what Iran can do with any funds that may be released under a deal that led to the release of five Americans and their placement under house arrest in Iran.
White House spokesman John Kirby said - in statements reported by the American (Al-Hurra) channel on Friday, that the United States will be "fully informed" about the destination of any Iranian funds that may be released.
The White House had announced earlier that Iran had transferred 5 Americans from prison to house arrest, and revealed that negotiations were underway for their final release and that "the situation is delicate."
