Mohsen Pak Ain, director of the international affairs department of Khamenei's office and ambassador of the former regime to Zambia, Thailand, Uzbekistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan, confirmed in an unprecedented admission that the cyber attacks on Albania were carried out by the mullahs' regime. According to a statement issued by the secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, a copy of which we received yesterday evening.
  The statement also said, "He praised what he described as the" dynamic and balanced diplomacy" of Ibrahim Raisi, the executioner of the 1988 massacre, who "paves difficult paths with self-confidence," saying: "The Americans say that Iran's influence in the region is more dangerous than making an atomic bomb. Wasn't this effect the result of force? If it weren't for Iran's deterrent power, we would have been paralyzed by hostile cyberattacks. With this cyber power, Albania was convinced to deal with the PMOI.” (News Online, August 16, 2023).
Earlier on August 13, the Farhikhtekan newspaper of Khamenei's adviser Ali Akbar Velayati wrote: "About why Albania imposed sudden restrictions on the PMOI... Perhaps one of the main reasons for such a decision was the harsh blow that occurred last year during Two cyber operations that affected the infrastructure of this country (Albania).
