The Consultation Chamber of the Brussels Court decided to extend the detention of a 35-year-old woman, in connection with the murder of her "adoptive" mother, a 68-year-old Belgian woman.
The Belgian news agency, quoting the "Latest News" newspaper, said that the woman was arrested in mid-July, and the investigating judge decided to place her in pretrial detention, and the extension was made a few days ago by the Brussels court.
The investigation office in Halla-Fulford refused to give any details about the incident and said that this comes within the framework of maintaining the confidentiality of the investigations.
The Belgian agency indicated that the dead woman was staying in her house opposite the building of the police department in the city of Esten Okrezel, and she was found murdered on the night of the twelfth of last July, and no information is available about the circumstances of the accident.
