On the occasion of the anniversary of the national uprising of the Iranian people against the mullahs’ regime, free Iranians, along with citizens of other countries and European political figures, will organize a large demonstration in Brussels today, September 15, at 4:30 p.m., near the headquarters of the European Union institutions. According to a statement distributed by the Iranian Resistance in Brussels, it said: “ In the national uprising of the Iranian people that began on September 15, 2022 after the killing of the young woman Mahsa Amini at the hands of the oppressive forces of the clerical regime, the Iranian people took to the streets across the country from the capital Tehran to Zahedan in the southeast of the country and from Mashhad in the northeast to Tabriz in the north. Western, from Rasht in the north to Bandar Abbas and Ahvaz in the south, and from Sanandaj and Saqqez in western Iran to Kerman in eastern Iran.
They took to the streets in large numbers and chanted death to Khamenei and death to the oppressor, whether the Shah or Khamenei, and announced to the whole world the overthrow of the mullahs’ regime and their desire to establish a democratic republic on the basis of separating faith from religion.
In its uprising, the Iranian people demanded the rejection of both the mullahs' and the Shah's dictatorships, and thus colonial alternatives, including the introduction of the Shah's son, were burned by colonial circles allied with the mullahs' regime, which aimed to divert the course of the uprising.
In the face of this uprising, the mullahs’ regime used repressive means again. According to statistics announced by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, more than 750 demonstrators were martyred at the hands of the security forces, hundreds were blinded as a result of the launch of the repressive forces, more than 30,000 people were arrested, and they were executed. The regime accused at least 7 demonstrators of the crime of participating in the demonstrations, but the Iranian people’s uprising to overthrow the regime and establish a democratic republic has not stopped or subsided, and is still continuing after a year.
In recent days, many leaders and officials of the mullahs’ regime have appeared on the scene, from Ali Khamenei, the regime’s guardian jurist, to Hossein Salami, the commander of the Guard, and expressed their fears of renewed protests and an uprising by the Iranian people to overthrow the mullahs’ regime.
The Resistance Units, supporters of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran inside the country, with their continued actions against the mullahs' regime over the past year, prevented the regime from suppressing the people's uprising. According to the Iranian opposition statement
