The US Army detonated a Minuteman 3 intercontinental ballistic missile during a test launch, after noticing a defect in it after the test launch took place.
Reuters reported that the US Air Force exploded the Minuteman 3 ballistic missile during a test launch, after noticing a defect following the launch.
The Pentagon previously announced that the United States plans to test the Minuteman 3 intercontinental ballistic missile on November 1.
Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder said during a press conference, “A previously planned test launch of the Minuteman 3 intercontinental ballistic missile without a combat warhead will take place tomorrow.”
