An attack on a mosque in the Netherlands raises concern among the Muslim community

Reports from the Gelderland region reported that a mosque had its glass broken by a 41-year-old person.
The management office of the mosque in the city of Colomborg is concerned about such an attack occurring and calls on the Dutch authorities to protect it and ensure the security of worshipers and respect for places of worship.
The arrested person has a criminal record, and members of the mosque have previously expressed their fear of criminal acts threatening the lives of Muslims in the Netherlands. The arrested person is still under investigation at the police office.
The Netherlands Mosques Authority has called on the Dutch authorities to exercise caution and intensify security monitoring of mosques, especially after the explosion of the situation in the Middle East.
The Dutch authorities decided to close Jewish schools in Amsterdam and lift the strict security of Jewish synagogues and institutions in Dutch cities.
