International Trade Union Confederation: Europe is witnessing the worst decline in workers’ rights in the world

The International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) said on Wednesday that Europe is witnessing the greatest deterioration and decline in respect for workers’ rights over the past ten years in the world, warning of the danger that has become surrounding democracy in the world.
Radio France Internationale reported on Wednesday that since the creation of the International Trade Union Confederation's Global Rights Index in 2014, the 11th edition of which was published today, "Europe is witnessing the most obvious decline."
The radio added that the union issued this annual report three days after the European elections, which witnessed progress by far-right movements. According to what was reported by the Youm 7 news website in Cairo from the Middle East News Agency.
It is noteworthy that the International Trade Union Confederation is the largest union federation in the world. The Federation was formed in early November 2006 after a merger between the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions and the World Confederation of Labor. The founding conference of the International Trade Union Confederation took place in the city of Vienna, Austria, and was preceded by two conferences to announce the dissolution of the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions and the International Confederation of Trade Unions.
