NATO Secretary General: Ukraine has the right to attack military targets inside Russia

Kyiv: Agencies
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg confirmed that Ukraine has the full right to attack military targets inside Russia.
On Monday, the official Ukrainian news agency Ukrainform quoted Stoltenberg as saying - in an interview with a Ukrainian program - “Ukraine’s right to attack military targets inside Russia is clearly defined in international law.” He added, “Since this is a war started by Russia against Ukraine, The latter has the right to self-defense, and this includes directing strikes into the territory of the aggressor.”
He pointed out that a number of NATO countries imposed restrictions on the use of the weapons they provided to Ukraine, and other countries did not place any restrictions at all, explaining that some are now easing their restrictions, due to the hostilities that Russia is trying to implement or is already carrying out in the Kharkiv region.
He added that as a result of the ongoing hostilities, Ukrainian forces are still carrying out strikes behind the traditional front line against Russian targets located on Ukrainian territory.. But in the case of the Kharkiv region, the front line and the Russian border are almost identical, so it cannot be expected that Ukraine will not attack with artillery or Airports located on the other side of the front, hence the border.
Stoltenberg welcomed the decisions of NATO allies, which made it possible to use weapons more widely. To hit these targets.
