King Abdulaziz University ranked fourth in the world by registering 187 patents in one year, and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals ranked 25th globally with 91 patents, while Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University came in 58th with 45 patents, and King Saud University ranked The 68 registered 40 patents. The results of Saudi universities “confirm the excellence achieved by the education system in recent years, and in light of the efforts of the Ministry of Education to develop the field of research and innovation, and the strategic plans it has prepared in terms of regulations, legislative and legal procedures, and regulations related to financial and financing policies, in addition to identifying challenges and presenting qualitative initiatives.” In a way that supports and enhances the research and innovation system in universities in order to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.”
