 Belgian health authorities said Tuesday that between September 17 and 23, an average of 2,232 new infections were diagnosed per day, an increase of 21 percent on a weekly basis.
In the same period, about 81,400 tests were conducted per day, of which 19.9% ​​gave a positive result, which means that the epidemic is getting stronger. Last week, the Belgian Institute of Health reported that a new wave of Corona is expected to appear in the middle of next month (October).
Since the beginning of September, the authorities have started inviting over 55-year-olds to obtain the fourth dose of anti-virus, and the campaign also included all health care workers as well as nursing homes for the elderly.
 In the invitation letters, the authorities informed the citizens that the fourth dose is not mandatory, but must respond within a month, whether by agreeing and booking an appointment to obtain it for free or to apologize for it until it is allocated to someone else.
