Biden: A new pandemic will undoubtedly come

The US President expressed his conviction that the world will face a new pandemic at some point, stressing the need to prepare for it.

Biden said during the American-African Summit in Washington, Wednesday, that the United States provided 231 million doses of vaccines to 49 African countries during the Corona virus epidemic, and invested in producing vaccines on this continent.

He added: “As we fight the spread of COVID-19, we continue to create more robust health care systems and institutions, and increase efforts to ensure access to medical services for all, to be convinced that we are better prepared to solve health care problems, including a new pandemic, which will come.” Undoubtedly."

Biden indicated that partnership relations between the United States and African countries will be "the key to success" for the whole world. "When Africa succeeds, the United States does too. And the whole world succeeds," he said.

He stressed that the United States intends to work on developing African infrastructure, pointing out that American companies concluded deals with African countries on the sidelines of the summit, worth more than $15 billion.
