The news received through the various agencies and websites on Monday morning reported that the Covid-19 virus has returned to strike again and forcefully, especially in India, which has known more than 12,000 cases of infection, and the Mexican president announced that he was infected with the virus for the third time, and in Malaysia, the rate of infection with the epidemic has increased significantly.
During the past 24 hours, India recorded 12,193 confirmed new cases of coronavirus (Covid 19), according to the Saudi Press Agency.
And the Indian Ministry of Health stated, in a statement, that the total number of injuries amounted to 44,881,877, while the total number of deaths reached 531,300, after 42 cases were recorded.
On the other hand, the Malaysian Ministry of Health announced that the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country increased by 87.5% in the 14 days preceding April 8.
And Radio Network (Channel News Asia) - in its English-language bulletin, stated that the number of cases undergoing treatment in hospitals increased during the same period by 30.5%, while the number of deaths due to infection with the virus increased by 25%, noting that as of April 8, the number of Active cases across the country are more than 13,000.
The Federation of Private Hospitals in Malaysia had issued a statement, encouraging citizens to wear face masks in crowded places and maintain social distancing in order to prevent the spread of the virus.
In the same context, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said that tests had confirmed his infection with the Corona virus for the third time, adding that he would rest for a few days, although his condition was not serious, according to "Reuters".
Lopez Obrador, 69, who suffered a serious heart attack in 2013, had reported minor symptoms from both previous bouts of COVID-19 at the height of the pandemic.
And he wrote on his official account on Twitter, "It is not dangerous .. my heart is 100%."
In January 2022, Lopez Obrador underwent a cardiac catheterization, and it was found that he was in good health.
