According to a press release issued by ESCWA, the report highlights worrying numbers, as it indicates that:
 78 million adults suffering from illiteracy,
15.3 million people face unemployment,
 174 million individuals lack the basic health services,
154 million people suffer from food insecurity,
56 million suffers from a lack of nutrition
The head of the Social Justice Department in Eskua Osama Safa stressed the need for immediate work to address these gaps, saying: “Not to neglect anyone that requires more than merely recognition of these disputes, but it requires the implementation of concrete policies to address them. The numbers are clear, and millions are at risk of exclusion unless governments take measures Decisive. ”
To confront these challenges, the report calls for integrating the framework of "no one neglecting" in national strategies, with a focus on five elements: discrimination, social and economic situation, governance, geography, and the ability to be affected .
The report also recommends the expansion of social protection, especially for the most vulnerable groups such as women, youth, refugees and workers in the irregular sector, and enhancing gender equality through stronger legislation to combat discrimination and gender -based violence.
