Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed that there is no one in the West serious about negotiating an end to the war in Ukraine and a ceasefire, and he said, "There is no one to talk to yet."
Lavrov added, in a statement reported by Novosti News Agency, “No one from the Ukrainian, American, or European leaders or political class is ready to hold serious talks, and so they are playing, which led to a dead end after the parody of the negotiations, which will be held during a meeting in Switzerland, entitled (Formula). Copenhagen).
The Russian Foreign Minister continued, "The West is trying, through fraud, blackmail, and lies, to drag as many developing countries and countries of the Global South as possible to the gatherings in Switzerland," according to what the Middle East News Agency reported on Monday morning.
It is noteworthy that Switzerland invited more than 160 delegations at the level of heads of state and government to the conference, including members of the G7, the G20, a number of countries from all continents, and three international organizations: the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and the Council of Ministers. Europe, the Vatican and the Patriarch of Constantinople, and the conference is scheduled to be held next June 15-16 near the city of Lucerne.
