NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will hold a press conference today, Friday, at the NATO headquarters in Brussels, to announce the agenda of the meetings of the foreign ministers of the member states of the international military establishment. For his part, Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu announced that the NATO foreign ministers will discuss in Bucharest on the 29th. And November 30, the importance of the Black Sea for the security of the alliance.
According to a statement by the Romanian Foreign Ministry, following the minister's phone call with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, on Thursday, that this will be the first meeting of this kind organized by Romania since its accession to NATO, and the second high-level NATO meeting in Romania since the summit in Bucharest in 2008.
And it was indicated in the statement that "the two sides agreed that in the current security context it is important that NATO and allies continue to provide support to the Ukrainian authorities to strengthen their resilience in the face of the unprecedented risks they face."
It is expected that the ministerial meeting will be attended by the foreign ministers of Finland and Sweden, as well as the foreign ministers of the NATO partner countries, namely Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
