The European Commission said in Brussels that President Ursula von der Leyen will receive the President of the State of Israel, Isaac Herzog, on Wednesday. The two sides are expected to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations in various fields
The Israeli President will also meet the next day, "Thursday," with European Commissioner Olivier Verhele, in charge of neighborhood and expansion policy.
Verheilly is expected to take part, together with Commission Vice-President Margaritis Schinas, in the official celebration of the International Holocaust Remembrance in the European Parliament.
The following day, "Friday," President Ursula von der Leyen will participate in the plenary session of the European Parliament dedicated to the International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
