Luis Miguel Bueno, spokesman for the European Union in the Middle East and North Africa, said that burning the Holy Qur’an is a very disgraceful act, and the spokesman stressed in a tweet on Twitter that there is no room in Europe for manifestations of racism, intolerance and hatred
And the European spokesman's tweet, which came days after the burning of the Holy Qur'an in Sweden and two days after another extremist ripped the pages of the Qur'an in The Hague, Netherlands, said, "Burning the Holy Qur'an is a very disgraceful act and offends the feelings and beliefs of many people within the European Union and in the world. There is no room in Europe for manifestations of racism, intolerance and hatred, including hatred against Muslims.?
It was mentioned that after one of the extremists burned the Holy Qur’an in Sweden .. the Prime Minister commented, saying: It is a disgraceful act and sympathizes with Muslims who felt offended, while the Swedish Foreign Minister, Tobias Billstrom, described the anti-Islamic provocations as “horrific.”
In a press statement last Sunday, the Arab Parliament called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and criminalize these unacceptable acts in a sentence and in detail, which contradict all human and moral values and principles, provoke Muslims, fuel feelings of hatred and violence, and aim to destabilize security and stability, and demanded the renunciation of all forms of hatred and extremism. Spreading the values of dialogue, tolerance and peaceful coexistence among peoples, and preventing any form of insult to all monotheistic religions.
The Arab Parliament warned of the serious repercussions of these practices, which are a serious violation of human rights, stressing the need to renounce hate speech and violence, and the necessity of respecting religious symbols, and refraining from provoking hatred by insulting religions and sanctities, and the need to spread the values of tolerance and coexistence.
