British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace has announced that the UK and Germany will take part in "joint air operations" over Estonia for the first time.

Wallace said - according to the British "Sky News" network, in its English-language publication today, Monday, that about 300 members of the Royal Air Force will be sent to the Baltic country, which shares a border with Russia, in order to lead air police operations for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Wallace added that the British pilots would work alongside Typhoon planes from the German Air Force, in live integrated missions, "as he described it."
