Dozens of victims of Israeli bombing in the Palestinian territories and Lebanon

At least 22 citizens were killed and several others were injured today, Thursday, in the Israeli occupation's bombing of a school housing displaced persons west of Rafah city.
Palestinian medical sources reported, in a statement today according to the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa", that 22 citizens were killed, including children and women, and several others were injured, some of them in critical condition, as a result of the occupation's bombing of the Rafidah School, which houses displaced persons.
A citizen was also killed and others were injured as a result of the occupation's aircraft bombing a group of citizens in the Saftawi area north of the Jalaa area northwest of Gaza City.
The occupation forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, which resulted in the martyrdom of 42,010 citizens and the injury of 97,720 others, the majority of whom are children and women, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of missing persons are still under the rubble.
The Israeli occupation forces also arrested at least 22 citizens from the West Bank, including two children and a journalist, since yesterday until Thursday morning. The Commission of Prisoners' Affairs and the Prisoners' Club explained in a statement carried by the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa" today - that the arrests were concentrated in the Hebron Governorate, while the rest were distributed among the governorates of Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem. In addition, the occupation forces continue to storm the Far'a camp in the Tubas Governorate, and the arrest campaign was accompanied by attacks and threats against the detainees and their families, in addition to the widespread acts of vandalism and destruction in citizens' homes. The Commission indicated that the occupation forces arrested 12 citizens from the Hebron Governorate, after raiding and searching their homes, and a young man from the town of Beit Anan, northwest of occupied Jerusalem. Five young men, including a journalist, during their raid on the city of Al-Bireh and the villages of Deir Ibzi' and Kafr Na'ma, and two young men from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and a citizen and his son from the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit. It is noteworthy that the number of arrests since the beginning of the ongoing war of extermination and comprehensive aggression against our people has reached more than 11,200 citizens from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, as the occupation forces continue to implement systematic arrest campaigns, as one of the most prominent fixed policies, which has escalated in an unprecedented manner since the beginning of the ongoing war of extermination.
On another note, the Lebanese Civil Defense announced today, Thursday, the martyrdom of 14 citizens and the injury of 10 others as a result of Israeli raids on southern Lebanon. The Civil Defense explained - according to Lebanese television - that 5 members of the Civil Defense were killed in an Israeli raid on the Civil Defense Center in the town of Dardghaya.

He added that 5 people were killed in an Israeli raid on a building in the western Baalbek area in the Bekaa; 4 others were killed and 10 were injured in a building in the town of Wardaniyeh, north of Sidon overlooking the coast.

Hezbollah targeted gatherings of Israeli soldiers with a barrage of rockets in the vicinity of the Marj, Beit Hillel and Maayan Baruch sites in northern Israel.

On the other hand, the Israeli army claimed on Thursday to have assassinated what it described as two leaders in the "Hezbollah" group in southern Lebanon.

According to the Asharq News website, the army claimed in a statement that it "killed the commander of the Houla region in Hezbollah, Ahmed Mustafa al-Hajj Ali," describing him as "responsible for launching rockets at Kiryat Shmona," adding that it "was also able to kill Muhammad Ali Hamdan, the commander of the anti-tank missile system in Mays al-Jabal in southern Lebanon."
Hezbollah announced on Wednesday that it had bombed the Zofulun area with large missiles, in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the barbaric Israeli invasion of cities, villages and civilians.

The party added - in a statement reported by the National News Agency in Lebanon - that an Israeli infantry force that tried to advance towards the Labouneh area was targeted with a guided missile, and they were killed and wounded.

It pointed out that the occupation forces were targeted with missiles and artillery shells while they were trying to advance towards Mays al-Jabal from several places, noting that the clashes are still ongoing.
