And Iran's revolution is far from us!
The French philosopher Rene Descartes says: "It is better for a person not to search for the truth if he does not have a method." Bastev's party, at this critical juncture, needs more than ever a new, specific and wise approach to confront the dictatorship of Macky Sall's government. This approach must also be accompanied by planning and coordination that takes place in complete secrecy so that the party - after the arrest of the spearhead, i.e. the leader Osman Sonko - can unite and gather its fragments from a corner, and work seriously to put into effect the strategy it will adopt in order to make the resistance more intense. And more influential at the local and global levels from another angle. The dissolution of Bastev's party by the government has no meaning for the party's supporters except to seek to change the channels of resistance, and there is wisdom that says: "Every emergency requires a new change." In Ablag's words, the current circumstances oblige the Pastiveans to devise a new strategy in order to be at the level of events in terms of response and effective response. There is no doubt that the success of Macky Sall's unjust government in imprisoning the opposition leader Osman Sonko and reducing the intensity of the revolution that broke out on the evening of Friday, July 28, 2024 AD after the news of the arrest of the leader, Sonko, spread, is based on two main pillars:
The first is to choose the appropriate time. We mean the end of high school students’ exams, the closing of schools, and the departure of most of the expatriate students from the capital, Dakar, heading towards their original regions, which undoubtedly affected the fading of the intensity of the revolution and its cessation.
Second: The government's decision to disable internet services, and this measure was decisive in attenuating the dynamism of the revolution, because the revolutionaries did not have coordination among them in the first place, but rather their movement and activity in the field, unfortunately, was almost random.
From this standpoint, we believe that there is an urgent need to change the approach and strategy so that the next round is feasible and fruitful, and even fatal, leading to the final overthrow of the dictator and his brutal government. Therefore, all the leaders of the Pastiv party and the activist Pastivists must definitely get out of the country as soon as possible, because the government will pursue them from all directions and with all the means at its disposal. The Pastiveans also have to refuse to meet any summons from the security or the police, as it is a fierce war declared against them, and the war is won by those who are more prepared for it. We say this because this brutal government will not rest until it uproots the party's roots and arrests all its leaders and influential supporters and imprisons them or puts a final end to all of their lives. The government implements a plan of killing, suppression, intimidation, imprisonment and torture to abort the revolution in the minds of its owners in the first place, and to put a final end to the militant Bastev party in the second place. Therefore, in her actions, she does not take into account the rights of citizens at all, and does not care at all whether she applied the law correctly or not! It is led according to its desires and hobbies, covering all the aggressions, polemics and violations it commits with the cover of the law. All that matters to this government is to reach its goal by any means or method possible! This is even if what is being committed is considered outrageous and scandalous. The end then justifies the means! And if that is the case, then from now on, let Bastev's party change its plan and approach in dealing with its supporters on the one hand, and its enemies on the other hand. All internal activities and tasks must be delegated to the communities that reside in the land of the Diaspora, especially those that live in the bosom of the West, for known matters. The West, in general, is more responsive to the rights and dignity of human beings in preserving and impunity, and is also more keen to support democracy and freedom of expression. From now on, the front of resistance must be from the outside in the land of the diaspora, not from the inside except for necessity. And we can take inspiration from recent history, we mean with Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini who led the Iranian Islamic revolution from his exile in France until it succeeded and bore fruit. Undoubtedly, past experiences teach us that dictatorial regimes cannot be resisted from within only, but rather that they must be overthrown through the formation of a strong front or fronts outside their countries and far from their places of control and hegemony, as well as the involvement of other foreign parties whose sensitivity the issue we seek to support affects. It should be noted from another angle that Senegal, in light of the current difficult circumstances, is not only the Bastifis who are in danger, but rather the comprehensive danger besetting every Senegalese, regardless of his status and weight in society, even if he is affiliated with the ruling party! No one forgets that dictatorial regimes do not know mercy and pity, that they are guided according to their interests and desires, and that they are capable of sacrificing some of their elements if they deem it necessary for the sake of survival and continuity. Indeed, the tyrant Macky Sall acquiesces to his whim and succumbs to his anger and anger against the leader Sonko and his supporters. He has lost all awareness befitting those of his stature. In other words, he is acting contrary to a famous saying uttered by Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte: "The heart of a statesman must be in his head," that is, The importance of realizing the mind, sound thinking, making informed decisions in the statesman, wise political leadership, and avoiding the motives of passion, whim, and the control of anger power! On the other hand, we find - with great regret - Bastev's party, to which the saying of the Cuban revolutionary leader Che Guevara applies: "A right that is not based on a force that protects it is void in the law of politics." The state sought with all its power, influence and intimidation to restrain many clerics, Islamic institutions, the media, businessmen and others! The majority of these groups play on the strings of the government for fear of losing some of its privileges or for fear of an unknown tomorrow. From this standpoint, we realize that Senegal during the era of the fascist dictator Macky Sall is no longer what it was, but has turned upside down, as hell has become for every citizen who is jealous and loving of it, instead of being a paradise of bliss! Previously, Senegal was famous among the countries of the world for its exemplary democracy and the peacefulness of its people, the succession of its presidents
Since its independence in 1960 CE, it was peaceful without having known a military coup. Therefore, belonging to this ancient country was a source of pride. In addition to this, the wide fame enjoyed by some of its enlightened figures and cadres, who were distinguished by the soundness of mind, poise, and broad culture.
And we end this article with the historical speech delivered by the leader Osman Sonko on one occasion, a speech of great importance in our current situation, which must constantly ring on attentive and aware ears day and night as a motivator for the people and the youth in particular to move forward in the path of resistance despite the noses of the discouraged.
Je m'addresse singulièrement à cette Jeunesse, prize in étau, angoissée par un avenir sans horizon, minee by the chomage and the honest of ne pouvoir he is realiser and aider ses parents, engloutie in the oceans or the deserted to the recherche desperee d' a hypothetique ailleurs meilleur.
President Ousmane Sonko
“I am addressing in particular those young people caught in the jaws of pincers, anxious about a future without horizon, undermined by unemployment and shame at not achieving success and helping their parents, mired in the midst of oceans or deserts in a desperate search for a better life elsewhere. To the young man, I remember what connects me with them, because everyone knows that there is a special relationship between me and the youth. In fact, what binds us is the ideal of a just society in which its wealth and resources are distributed fairly, and in which all opportunities are equal. Dear African brothers and sisters, the hour of revolution has come. We will no longer accept these petty plotting presidents, who always work to serve the other, and never to serve their own people! A new wind of freedom, democracy and sovereignty must blow throughout Africa. The twenty-first century must also be African, and announcing the beginning of the awakening of the phoenix, which remained They slept for a long time.” President Osman Sonko. / Translated by: Prof. Mohamed Galay Angai - Brussels - Belgium.
