Hey Bastiff fans, don't fall into the trap!
The policy adopted by the dictator Macky Sall with the opposition leader Osman Sonko has been based since its inception on trying by all possible means to tarnish his name and tarnish his image in front of the Senegalese and the world at large, and he exhausted to achieve this low aspiration all the means of force, pressure, tricks and deception that were in his possession. And he has already succeeded in stripping Chief Sonko of every job position he has held! Those who follow the biography of the latter find an endless series of accusations beyond imagination that have been thrown against him! We start by mentioning the accusation of Salafism that was attached to Sonko and his party. Salafism here means the extremist, infidel, and innovating Islamic group of Sufism. In other words, those that have no interest but to fight the Sufi sects in every place, using the oil weapon and all the apparatuses of the countries that embrace them to remove their brothers in religion from the group of believers! For this group, Sufism is more infidel than the infidels of Quraysh in the Prophet’s era, and one of its methods, i.e. Salafism in the call and guidance, is to reveal to their Muslim brothers the Qur’anic verses that were revealed to the infidels. The charge of Salafism attached to the Bastif party is the one that gave birth to all the extremist terrorist groups that claim to be affiliated with Islam in all parts of the world, such as al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, ISIS in the land of the Levant, and so on!!!
There is no doubt that Bastev is innocent of this accusation, the innocence of the wolf of the blood of the son of Jacob. All religious, political and social reformers throughout history are often accused of false accusations fabricated against them in order to prevent the spread of their ideas and the success of their reform project. It has been said about our Prophet, the Chosen One - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - that he is a poet, priest, magician, etc. We also have in Senegal the closest example: how many false accusations were attached to the sheikh of the murids, we mean Sheikh Ahmed Bemba, may God be pleased with him. Therefore, men were provided with cannons that were kept in one of his houses, ...etc. Everyone knows today that they were flimsy accusations that were leveled at him to stop his spiritual and enlightening path. There is no doubt that the main reasons for these accusations can be reduced and attributed to the determination of this sheikh to awaken his people from their deep slumber and to educate them in a special way from alienation in the other, so he bellowed saying in his wonderful poem under the title: “The inspiration of peace in defending the religion of Islam”:
And among them is he who, if he sees a Christian, considers him to be one of the angels of the Most Gracious.
And among them are those who think that the matter will be like benefit and harm for them in eternity.
I said an alarm to you, my people, beware of the intoxication of sleep.
And do not make a swollen lump a swollen tumor, for that is ignorance of knowledge.
The list of people who have been unjustly accused throughout history is too long to be exhaustive. The leader, Othman Sonko, with his sophistication and awareness, realized very early on the implications of this accusation and the dire consequences it could cause for him and his party, so he rose without procrastination to unveil his position on the Salafist group. In his shelter through his parents, all of this is clear and evident in his book entitled “Solutions”, and he also refuted this baseless accusation in many of his speeches and in his relations with some sheikhs from the Sufi sects, especially the disciples. If the love of Othman Sonko and his participation in most of his views or his support in his ordeal and the grave injustice he suffers from makes a person a Salafi, then I am the first of the Salafis, and therefore no one with me will doubt that Sirin Sheikh Salih Ambaki is the son and successor of Sheikh Salih - may God be pleased with him - the fifth caliph of the Muridi order He is also a Salafi, and Sheikh Abd Imbaki Dar Al-Muati is a Salafi, as well as many of the notables of the followers are Salafis! It is an accusation that does not stand when it is put in the test of criticism and examination with all objectivity. In fact, these accusations are nothing but pretentiousness and mere nonsense on the part of their owners. Rather, they are absurdities that whoever wants to believe in believes in. It also follows from this accusation that most of the Senegalese society, especially the youth of all Sufi orders, today adhere to Salafism, which is fighting against their religious references and spiritual practices! From this standpoint, we also seize the opportunity to raise here words of advice and guidance to all those who belong to the Bastev party or support its leader, so that they are well aware of the trap that has been laid for them in aggression and anger. Unfortunately, many clerics from among the religious households were deceived by this accusation, so they distanced themselves from the leader and his party, and did not support him and his party regarding the barrage of injustice that befell them. What we want to say here is the following: Every attack or attack on religious authorities in Senegal is the same as tampering with fire. For Senegal, if one day it is devoid of these religious references, the consequences will be dire, perhaps more than the current conditions in which we live. If we were in a country that respects and appreciates the value of these religious references, it would have a prestigious institutional position worthy of it, other than the one it is in at the current times. Every sane Senegalese who is aware of what is going on behind the scenes has no choice but to respect these religious references and give them their rights as appropriate and necessary. If you attacked her and belittled her or mocked her one day, know that there will come a day when she will be in dire need of her. Religious references are solid pillars or pillars of Senegalese society. On the day they collapse, society will collapse with them! In this context, I recall a deep dialogue that took place between me and the late Mr. Al-Amin Inias, the head of the "Al-Fajr" group. This conversation lasted about an hour and a half, as usual with him. The topic of our conversation focused on the bad political situation during Macky Sall's first term. During it, we touched on the issue of religious references and their relationship to what is happening in the political arena, their silence at times and their interference at other times in the course of events. It should be noted that what is concerned with these references here are the so-called "caliphs" in religious homes with a Sufi infusion. So Mr. Al-Amin Aniyas lowered his voice as if he wanted to chant something very important in my ear and wanted me to listen to him more, so I gathered all the members in complete silence, as if a bird was on my head or a quack was in the hands of his washing machine. He said: "Professor Gallai, these references are never attacked because of the firewood. I said: What do you mean by the firewood? He said: The seat of the caliphate." The founders of those religious houses. Wisdom necessitates respecting the chair regardless of who is sitting on it.” I immediately realized that they were valid and precious words emanating from a wise man, rather from a man with a very high level of knowledge and familiarity with Senegalese society. Amen Based on that, let everyone realize that Bastev’s battle was never against religious references or Sufi orders, for I personally did not find among the representatives of the Bastev party who have well-known positions within it someone who insults and attacks the religious references or denies their actions and actions. He himself repeatedly warned his supporters against the use of insults and insults, especially those directed at religious authorities, and he made it clear in some of his statements that whoever does this is not one of his supporters, and that suffices as a martyr.Insults and insults have not served any political project throughout history, that is a despicable ploy woven by it. The government's spiders have used professional men on the internet who propagate it in order to intimidate the Sufis and their ilk. Most of those who insult and curse on the internet are not recognized by the party, and rather Osman Sonko has good morals. Not everyone who claims to belong to the Bastev party via the internet actually belongs to it, and this is the least Anyone with the slightest bit of intellect can comprehend it. Those who are professional in insulting and cursing on the Internet are well-known political activists (activistes) who earn their living where they find a living, and they are often rebels who seek revenge on people who were the cause of their injustice or humiliation and humiliation. Bastev, in these dark days in which the confusion was mixed, must issue a satisfactory statement in this matter before his matter gets worse, and the cunning government succeeds in promoting this malicious charge that God has not sent down with authority. Added to the charge of Salafism are other accusations, all of which are false and have no basis in truth. He accused Bastiff of being a hidden cell of the Casamance rebelles, of being terrorists with a penchant for strife, etc. The list without equivocation is not understood, and the rest of the talk. The Almighty says: (Or did you think that you would enter Paradise, and when there has come to you the likeness of those before you? They faltered until the Messenger and those who believed with him said, “When will God help us?” Verily, God’s victory is near.) [Al-Baqara: 214]. (Indeed, those who came up with the lie are a band of you. Do not think that it is bad for you. Rather, it is good for you. Each one of them will have what he has earned.) Of sin, and he who took upon himself the greater part of it, for him is a grievous chastisement. Why, when you heard it, did not the believing men and women think of it? themselves well and they said this is a clear falsehood, why did they not come upon it four witnesses, and if they did not produce the witnesses, then those with God are the liars, and were it not for God's grace and mercy upon you? You will be lost in this world and the Hereafter. A grievous chastisement will touch you for that in which you indulged.) [An-Nur: 1-14].
