In mid-September 2024, Lebanon witnessed two simultaneous waves of devastating bombings targeting wireless and mobile communication devices (pagers) used by Hezbollah elements.

These resulted in the death of many innocent civilians, including women and children, and the injury of about 2,750 people,

including the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Mojtaba Amani.

The terrorist attack did not stop here.

The second wave targeted Japanese ICOM wireless communication devices, killing 30 people and injuring 750 others in Lebanon and Syria. These diabolical attacks caused a near-total paralysis of the health sector in Lebanon, as services collapsed in more than 150 hospitals in the country.

A well-planned and executed conspiracy

The attacks were not random, but were part of a complex intelligence operation planned by the Israeli Mossad over a period of a whole decade.

The goal: to exploit the old technology, pagers, which Hezbollah has resorted to to avoid modern technological breakthroughs.
In a cunning move, Israel planted and supplied modified pagers containing the highly explosive PETN. The devices were sold to Hezbollah through front companies in countries such as Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary. The devices, purchased just five months before the bombings, became a tool for the Mossad to turn Hezbollah’s ideology into a weapon against them. Strangely enough, Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah had instructed members of the organization just five months earlier to use pagers instead of cell phones, to avoid Israeli hacking into their communications network and cell phones. This confirms the Mossad's penetration of Hezbollah and the leadership close to Hassan Nasrallah himself

It also changed the rules of the game by undermining confidence in securing their communications

This operation radically affected the structure of Hezbollah, as its military, media and financial leaders were targeted and assassinated, headed by Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah and his successor Hashem Safi al-Din

The precise arrangement and preparation for the operation and choosing the right timing paved the way To launch a comprehensive war targeting Hezbollah's infrastructure, and destroying the southern suburbs of Beirut and southern Lebanon.

The effects of the operation were not limited to Hezbollah only, but extended to Syria and Iran, where the Shiite axis was subjected to successive strikes that led to the collapse of the Syrian army and the dismantling of the resistance front

The crime of pagers and walkie-talkie devices was "falsely" denied by Israeli President Isaac Herzog at the time that Israel was responsible for it, during an interview with the British "Sky News" network.
But the truth of their lies appeared after they admitted to assassinating Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Hamas in Tehran as well.
The Taiwanese company "Gold Apollo" also denied manufacturing the devices used in the attack, noting that the "BAC" company in Hungary has a license to use its trademark.
And that these devices were not manufactured in Taiwan, but were manufactured in Israel itself!
